Internship | Fab Lab Mansoura

Brief:


At Fab Lab Mansoura we love having interns working alongside us exploring the possibilities of the lab. As a rule of thumb, you will be using half of your time on getting to know the machines and mastering their operations and service, and the second half on helping clients and organizing the lab.


Description:

  • Interface with clients either face to face or through responding to emails and messages.

  • Help with daily machine requests.

  • Conduct orientation and tours for walk-ins.

  • Help in Front Desk and client handling.

  • Help in purchasing the needed materials and electronics.

  • Help with community management processes.

  • Commitment: 20 to 25 hours/week.

  • Internship Duration: 2 to 3 months.

Requirements:

  • Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering Student/Graduate.

  • Ability to independently and efficiently perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and understandable manner, both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and apply policies and procedures.

  • A technical background is a must.
