Girls Make is a summer innovation program funded by Chevron - The Human Energy Company - to empower girls to pursue their interest in STEM subjects, providing them with the skills needed to make their ideas come true using Maker Education methodologies and Digital Fabrication techniques.
We are looking for awesome instructors to deliver the weekly sessions and mentor the girls throughout the program, in one of our branches located in four cities: 6th of October, Zagazig, Assuit, and Alexandria
ELIGIBILITY
To be an Instructor in Girls Make program, you need:
- To have a good technical background in programming, electronics, computer-aided design, and digital fabrication
- To have excellent organizational skills (working or volunteering experience is preferred)
- To have excellent written and oral communication skills
- To have a previous experience in teaching and mentoring young kids or teens
- To be able to devote 10 to 20 hours per week (online and offline- depending on the program schedule)
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Girls Make instructor you will be responsible for:
- Understanding the program mission, vision, and objectives
- Mastering and being up-to-date with the skills we teach; by attending the Instructors Boot Camp and reading the Instructors' Guide
- Attending the required meetings
- Participating in content development and program coordination
- Delivering scheduled in-week sessions
- Engaging students through the class
- Providing adequate availability to support students via communication platforms
- Reviewing, evaluating, and providing feedback on student progress
- Following up and reporting on class and students' progress
- Promoting a respectful environment free of harassment and discrimination
SCHEDULE
You'll be joining the team on a part-time basis and the duration.

Salary Range: from 3000 L.E to 4000 L.E according to experience
