Job Brief
We are looking for a Fabrication Specialist who is passionate about machines, designs, and
materials. Who is aware of the maker movement, and able to deal with machines, and respond
to client requests and designs.
Job Responsibilities
● Handle daily machine requests (3D Printers, Laser Cutters, CNC Milling machines, and
more)
● Interface with clients either face to face or through responding to emails and messages.
● Conduct orientation and tours for walk-ins.
● Keep accurate records of clients’ data, financials, and machine data.
● Prepare and submit reports on machine usage.
● Handle machine maintenance.
● Purchase all the needed materials and electronics.
● Help with inventory management.
● Help with community management processes.
● Act as a technical mentor to students in their projects.
● Coordinate the Fab Lab different activities operations.
Job Requirements
● 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
● Graduated from faculty of Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Production,
Electrical, Control, Communications, …)
● Ability to independently and efficiently perform detailed work with a high degree of
accuracy.
● Passion for Innovation and making.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and understandable manner,
both oral and written.
● Excellent Presentation skills.
● High ability to self-learn.
● Flexibility and agility.
● Ability to effectively communicate and apply policies and procedures.
● Familiar with CNC machines (laser cutters, 3d printers, CNC milling, …)
● Familiar with CAD-CAM software.
● Familiar with electronics, PCB design, and production, embedded programming, and
systems.
● Ability to use hand and power tools.
Job Details
● Contract Type: Full time.
● Working Hours: 40h per week, 5 days per week. Flexible work schedule, might require
some nightshifts, and on weekends hours as per workload distribution .
