San3a Tech is hiring a business development manager; the candidate will be responsible for setting the business development targets and strategy for San3a Tech and it’s subbrands (San3a academy, events, hub & Fab Lab Egypt). The candidate will lead our business development team to expand our client base with a focus on financial growth.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in leading business development teams and a very good understanding of budgeting and forecasting.
Set business development targets for San3a Tech and it’s services.
Research the market to identify new business opportunities.
Maintain a database of potential and current clients.
Develop business proposals for new and existing clients.
Build rapport with clients and cultivate good relationships.
Attend meetings with potential clients, and present San3a Tech’s products and followup on potential business opportunities.
Attend industry events to network and scout for new business opportunities.
Develop business development reports and keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, and contracts.
Coordinate with the operations manager to develop contracts for clients’ deals.
Manage and supervise the business development team performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience, account management experience is an asset.
Previous experience with tech-related companies.
Awareness of the Egyptian startup ecosystem.
Previous experience in managing business development teams is a must.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
