About the Role

About The Role:

San3a Academy is building a pool of Freelance Instructors to support current and upcoming learning experiences designed for adult learners and working professionals from different backgrounds, such as educators, engineers, designers, developers, and technology enthusiasts.

Our programs focus on different hands-on, applied learning in emerging technology domains, that includes: CAD(Fusion 360), digital fabrication(3D-printing & laser cutting), and rapid prototyping.

⚠️ You don’t have to be skilled in all of these topics. It’s enough to be skilled in at least one of them ⚠️

Selected candidates will first join a free Training of Trainers (ToT) program designed to equip them with the instructional approach, delivery methods, and technical alignment required for San3a Academy learning experiences.

After successfully completing the ToT and passing the evaluation process, instructors will join the San3a Academy instructor pool and may be assigned to deliver different learning experiences over time, based on their skills, strengths, and availability.

This is a teaching-focused role. We are looking for instructors who can translate technical concepts into meaningful, hands-on learning experiences and create engaging, practical, and supportive environments for adult learners.

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver and facilitate hands-on learning experiences following the provided curricula and instructional guides

  • Adapt explanations, activities, and pacing to suit different learner backgrounds, experience levels, and learning needs

  • Engage learners actively through projects, questions, and guided exploration

  • Support learners through trial, error, and iteration in a positive and encouraging manner

  • Observe learner progress and provide timely guidance or troubleshooting

  • Collaborate with the education team and attend briefings or trainings when required

  • Provide clear and honest feedback on session progress and learner engagement

Work Model & Availability:

This is a project-based freelance role. There is no fixed weekly schedule.

Instructors are hired to San3a Academy’s instructor pool and are assigned to programs, courses, or workshops throughout the year based on program needs, instructor availability, and skill alignment.

Each assignment has its own timeline and session schedule, which will be shared in advance.

Who This Role Is For:

This role is suitable for instructors who:

  • Have strong technical skills in either CAD(Fusion 360 OR SolidWorks OR Tinkercad), digital fabrication(3D-printing OR laser cutting OR CNC Millling), or rapid prototyping.

    • (Being skilled in more than one area will be a big plus)

  • Can demonstrate a solid portfolio of hands-on projects relevant to these domains.

  • Enjoy working with adults and professionals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Are comfortable teaching in hands-on, project-based learning environments (online and/or offline).

  • Can explain technical ideas clearly without overcomplicating them.

  • Value patience, curiosity, and learner-centered teaching.

Requirements

Required Skills & Competencies:

Instructional & Teaching Skills:

  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, training, or facilitating learners (formal or informal)

  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them clearly for adult learners with different backgrounds

  • Strong facilitation and learner engagement skills

  • Comfort managing group dynamics and maintaining a positive learning environment

  • Willingness to reflect on and continuously improve teaching practice

Technical Skills (One or More Areas):

Candidates are not expected to have expertise in all areas. We are looking for instructors with solid experience in one or more of the following topics: (Being skilled in more than one area will be a big plus)

CAD(Fusion 360), digital fabrication(3D-printing & laser cutting), and rapid prototyping.

  • 2D sketching and 3d modeling utilizing Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Tinkercad, or similar.

  • Turn sketches into physical objects utilizing 3D-printer and laser cutter machines.

  • Familiar with the rapid prototyping concepts and operating different digital fabrication machines.

General Competency

  • Ability and willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and technologies as needed
