I'm Rawan Sorour, an artistic person passionate about art. Though I studied Sociology, my true passion lies in the world of art and design, especially origami. I enjoy transforming simple paper into complex and beautiful forms. Additionally, I enjoy traditional art forms like drawing and painting but origami has a special place in my heart. It's a truly magical process that allows me to create something tangible from nothing.
My Journey
My love for origami started in high school (2016). I saw a video online and was amazed by how people could make complex shapes from simple paper. I began practicing, starting with easy folds and gradually moving to more difficult ones. I'm always learning and trying new techniques.While I was always creative as a child, origami truly sparked my maker spirit. It showed me the power of turning a simple material into something beautiful. It's a skill that continues to inspire me.
My project, Paper World, is all about bringing the magic of origami to everyone. I offer a range of origami-based products and services, including origami kits, paper accessories, custom paper decor, and origami workshops and courses. I target people of all ages who are interested in arts and crafts, paper crafts, and self-expression. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned origami enthusiast, there's something for everyone in Paper World.
What makes Paper World unique is its accessibility, creativity, sustainability, and personal touch. I strive to make origami accessible to everyone, regardless of their skill level, by designing easy-to-follow kits and instructions. I encourage creativity and self-expression through origami by providing a platform for people to explore their artistic side. I use eco-friendly materials whenever possible and encourage my customers to recycle their paper creations. I also offer custom orders and personalized services to make each product truly unique.
